Itinerary

Day 1Siwa oasis from Cairo

Our accredited tour guide will pick up you from the hotel in Cairo or Giza at 06:00 am to enjoy one of the best Cairo Excursions, enjoy a Safari to the most charming place in the Western Desert of Egypt, Siwa Oasis.

You will be transferred to Siwa Oasis from Cairo via El-Alamein road, our first stop will be your first stop will be at the area of El Alamein to visit the world-war museum and walk between world war II cemeteries on the West of Alexandria. In 1942 the Allies, under Britain’s Field Marshall Montgomery, halted the German-Italian troops which were proceeding towards the River Nile. That was a major victory for the Allies, though not without loss of life, with some 11,000 killed and 60,000 wounded.

Your personal tour guide and driver will take you to the Commonwealth world war II Cemetery and recently erected memorials founded by the Australian and New Zealand governments, through the arches and beyond the gardens, 7,000 white headstones commemorate the Australian, New Zealand, and British soldiers who fought and died at El Alamein, you will visit the site where the battle took place and spend time at the world war Museum. after you finish El Alamein tour, you will drive along the beautiful bay of Marsa Matrouh on the Mediterranean coast where your tasty seafood lunch will be served then you will continue to Siwa Oasis, about 4 hours drive from Marsa Matrouh.

Day 2Siwa sightseeing

Enjoy a lovely breakfast, then you will resume your Siwa Oasis daily tour started from Cairo, enjoying visiting the ruins of the Old Town of Shali:

After that, you will be transported to see the Temple of Alexander the Great ( the temple of The Oracle ) at the Aghurmi village dates back to the 26th dynasty, and visit the temple of Amun Ra known as the Temple of Um Ubeyda.

The Temple of Amun is an archaeological site at Jebel Barkal in Northern State, Sudan. It is situated about 400 kilometres (250 mi) north of Khartoum near Karima. The temple stands near a large bend of the Nile River, in the region that was called Nubia in ancient times. The Temple of Amun, one of the largest temples at Jebel Barkal, is considered sacred to the local population. Not only was the Amun temple a main centre of what at one time was considered to be an almost universal religion, but, along with the other archaeological sites at Jebel Barkal, it was representative of the revival of Egyptian religious values. Up to the middle of the 19th century, the temple was subjected to vandalism, destruction, and indiscriminate plundering, before it came under state protection.

then experience the unique Siwan culture through the Siwa House Museum and lunch will be served in the Oasis famous square overlooking Shali at Abdo restaurant you will also visit the Mountain of the Dead ( Jabal el Mawta ) visit the interesting tombs of the rulers of Siwa Oasis during the twenty-sixth dynasty like the tombs of SI Amon, MSW Isis, crocodile tomb, then you will enjoy relaxing afternoon at Cleopatra Spring swimming and dipping into the sparkling water, which is a natural water spring, fed naturally by the underground water and is considered the best-known water spring in the area, there is a belief that Queen Cleopatra took a shower in these waters accompanied by a landscape surrounded by palm trees and sand.

Local girls of Siwa used to bathe in this place before the wedding believing they will become as pretty as queen Cleopatra since she is known to have visited the well historically leaving her name to be mentioned whenever people talk about the best bubbling water spring in the western desert.

Ain Guba Following the trail that leads to the Oracle Temple and continuing beyond the Umm Ubayd Temple will take you to the most famous spring in Siwa Oasis. Crystal clear water gurgles in a large stone pool, which is a popular bathing place for both locals and tourists. A couple of lovely coffee shops have comfortable shaded seating areas and serve refreshments and delicious snacks; Bring your own picnic if you want to hang out. One of Siwa’s most famous tourist attractions is a stone bath full of natural hot springs, and some claim that it is named after the famous queen Cleopatra who took a dip here during her visit to Siwa. Take advantage of this offer and discover the wonders of the blessed land of Egypt, from historical times to the present.

After that you will be transferred to Fitnas Island to enjoy once in the lifetime Sunset view.

Day 3Great sand sea / Bir Wahed / Fossil

Take your breakfast in the hotel, then continue your Siwa Desert Safari, will join you in a four-wheel drive to explore the Great Sand Sea.

You are going to start the Egypt Desert Safari adventure between the golden sand dunes till we arrive at the fossils area and see the rocky coral reefs which date back to the Cambrian era.
Then we will take you to one of the charming sites in the great sand sea a beautiful lake in the middle of the desert, and it may be you will be lucky enough to see the flamingo birds, you can swim in the cold water of the lake enjoying the calmness of the desert and bathing in a very relaxing atmosphere.
Passing by Dakrour Mountain, now we will enjoy the Siwa sandboarding experience, although not as fast as snowboarding but with the right quantity of wax we can let you shoot down some of the extensive sand dunes in the Great Sand Sea and have thrills to spare, after sandboarding it is time to wash up in the hot spring renowned as Bir Wahid for chilling and calming our muscles, enjoy another amazing Sun Set at the Great Sand Sea in the middle of the dunes while having Bedouin tea.

Day 4Back to Cairo
